Debt Consolidation: A Great Way for a New Start
Before my wife and were married, each of us had lines of debt strung across a variety of accounts. None of these debts, however, were anything major as most were under $100.00 or so. The problem was the number of them.
Since we were soon to become one household, we made the decision to pay off all the really low balances, cancel the credit accounts, and organize the rest under one debt consolidation loan.
When all was said and done, we had one payment for all the debt, our interest payments were cut in half, and we could begin our own credit history together.
