I am now learning how to draw

I am so excited, I have been thinking about this for a long time, thinking about taking up art as an hobby and have tried to learn about sculpting and also being able to sketch. But in recent times I am now learning how to draw as this is the tihng that has really captured my heart and imagination being able to look at something and somehow translate the picture seen through my eyes down on to a piece of paper with skill. For sure learning how to draw has been one of the best things that I have ever decided to do.

Luxury vacations in the northeastern New England Coast

New England Coast Destinations for Pricey VacationsIf you feel the urge to explore, why not splurge?  And why not spend it all exploring the New England Coast?  A full wallet will get you to a whole lot of places and plenty of things to see, hear, feel, taste and experience.  Here are some of the pricey vacations you might want to take in the New England Coast:White water raftingFor the very adventurous and those seeking thrill rides, try shooting the rapids on Dead or Kennebec rivers and exchanging less-than-deadly paintball firepower in the forests of Maine.  Packages are usually offered as day-long trips and it costs only from around $115 to $160 per person, a sumptuous lunch included.Nantucket luxury beach hotelSo there’s a huge crowd vying for the same spot on the beach as you?  Stay away from the madding crowd and head off for a pricey vacation at the Cliffside Beach Club.  Your accommodation will allow you to open your front door and walk directly on the beach, unhampered by the other sunburned bodies.  All modern luxuries are included in the package including Wi-Fi access for those who can’t not get connected and flatscreen TV, in case you need to know what’s going on in the world outside.  Pools are heated and their hydrotherapy hot tubs are huge enough to fit a family of five, with plenty of room to move.  Accommodations cost from a low of $450 a night and around $3,150 a week.Butler beachNewport, Rhode Island tourism is famous for its scenic beaches.  If you want a pricey (and lazy) beach vacation that offers plenty of privacy and laid-back pleasure, try the Chanler, located at Cliff Walk.  If you’re with your significant other, hire a beach butler for only $85 and let him chauffeur you to the beach of your choice.  Sit back and take in the view – your butler will take care of everything for you.  At its low end, this will cost you around $600 a night.  High-end accommodations are charged at around $1,300 a night.Get desertedSo you’ve always dreamed of being cast away on a desert island.  Although the desert island part requirement isn’t met, you’ll find that a stay at Chanterelle Island will more than make up for it.  At just 12 acres, the island is perfect for a private getaway (no, you don’t rent just a cottage, you rent the whole island), quite fitting if you simply want to get ‘lost’.  The amenities are far from shabby, however because you can go kayaking, boating or even play a game of badminton and croquet.  There are no televisions, though and forget about Wi-Fi connections.  You’re here to get lost, right?  This is one pricey vacation you’ll want to take if you can spare $5,000 a week. How about a cruise? If travel by sea is a preference and you would like to include a few places in Canada for your itinerary, try a cruise vacation to explore the New England Coast.  There are several cruise lines that offer ultra-luxurious cruises that tread the water from Maine to Halifax or Quebec.  The journey is as dramatic as the destination, you’re relaxed and pampered as you take in the sites, the history and the culture.  Cruises that include the New England Coast generally have five ports, lasts from 11 to 14 days, depending on the cruise and the ship.  Land tours are guided and you can opt to dine on board the ship or in your current port of call.

Choosing An Online Graphic Design University

Real Samurai Swords Are Hard To Find

I have been to a lot of stores that sell swords and what I find is usually disappointing. They will have blades all over the place and no doubt they sell a lot of them. The problem is that they are mostly junk and are not Real Samurai Swords. They are not even close to real samurai swords, the hilts are usually loose, the blades are made from cheap steel that came straight out of a mold.

A Real Samurai Sword will have been hand forged of two different kinds of metal. These two metals are what gave the sword the hardness to hold it’s edge and the flexibility to actually be used as a weapon without it shattering.

A bit of music, street dance and rapping

I was watching some 80′s film the other day. In fact I’m not sure what it’s called it’s one of those films that your TV is tuned into at 1am in the morning and you’re not really sure what it is.

Usually it’s a good time to drift off to sleep. But it wasn’t possible this time because the soundtrack was just too good! It was definitely a film from the 70′s or 80′s.

There were all these funky tracks and it was showing a bunch of kids trying to make it in the music biz. You’d see ghetto blasters doing their thing, rappers doing their rhymes, dancers doing their street dance and neighbours complaining.

Ah the good old 80′s and 70′s!

Be an hardwood floor installer

With the growing trend of more and more people looking to move away from using carpet, becoming an hardwood floor installer is proving to be a really lucrative new career for many. Hardwood flooring is simple to clean and install if you take the time out to learn the skills and the flooring cannot accumulate a large amount of dirt and debris that some other flooring solutions such as carpet can often hide. Weekly vacuuming of particulates and wiping with a damp mop are all that is needed to keep most hardwood floors shining; and you as the hardwood floor installer can offer this as an extra service.

The Blues Sister

All I really knew about blues was from a movie I saw years ago entitled The Blues Brothers. I did enjoy the music and decided that now that I was going to learn guitar I would start with a blues guitar lesson. The more I learn about my guitar and the more I learn about blues the more I like it. I can see why people really get hooked on it. I now have the basic blues beat down and can ad lib with a lot of records. I am not ready to go on tour but I am having fun.
