Aussies Enjoy Outdoor Living
The Aussies certainly do love their outdoor living. Barbecues seem the order of the day, and why not? Apparently, the sun mostly shines, and there’s not much better than eating outdoors and having friends around. Us Brits get some bad press amongst some Aussies because we get accused of whingeing about things. Well, today I saw something on TV which makes me think they have a point. A family had emigrated from the UK four years ago, and moved to Melbourne. The husband complained all the time about the hot weather, and the fact that at Christmastime it didn’t snow. Hello! Didn’t he do his homework before he moved out there? His wife and kids loved life in Australia. She had a job connected with nursing.
