Before I Grew Up
I used to think that if I couldn’t have a big kitchen, I didn’t want a house at all. I felt that a little kitchen would mean I couldn’t entertain guests. A small kitchen cabinet was a death sentence to me. Where was I supposed to put all my things if I had one? But that was before I grew up. Now, I realize that life is all about making do with what one can afford. My kitchen is not big, but it works for me. I painted it a light color and always keep the blinds open. That way, it looks bigger.
