To start the task of organizing the space in your garage, you will want to remove everything from it. This means that everything needs to be taken out and placed outside. Important and non-waterproof items would be better protected if they were kept away from the garage door while you wash down the floor.
There are many parts to a garage, some of which you would not even think of.
There are many people who store so many things in a garage that it no longer accommodates a vehicle. Since your car is a valuable and expensive investment, it would be a good idea to store it under cover when you are not using it.
