Fish tanks are otherwise called the cuboid aquaria, owing to the shape of the fish tank which keeps a number of water dwelling plants or animals. The fish tank is generally made of glass or high end plastics or is an acrylic box with an open top. Each fish tank will host a variety of species, each of them in turn with different habitats and different water requirements. Cubical aquaria are the most common and are called the fish tanks while one can even have bowl shaped aquaria called the fish bowls.
Tropical fresh water fishes can survive over a range of water parameters and owing to this; they are usually the first to be introduced into a fish tank. Only after gauging certain factors if the tank has room for all species, if the floor can support the weight of all species and if the tank of that size can be managed, should one select a fish tank.
