It’s the American Dream on the Screen

It’s always really interesting to watch shows like American Idol. There’s just something about seeing someone come from obscurity and make it into the spotlight like that. It seems like even people who don’t actually win get so much good exposure that they always get a contract from Philadelphia recording studios and make at least one record. They get a shot to really prove that they have staying power and can make it big. For someone who has aspirations to be a recording artist, it’s truly a great venue to get exposure and get the chance to really hit it big. It’s like watching the American dream in real time.
