Shopping With Mom
Mom and I went shoe shopping last night and found some real bargains. She’s 65 now and she still keeps up with the latest fashion trends, and she sure has an eye for the sales. I swore I’d never keep coupons and all that but I get as excited as she does when Kohl’s has specials on.
Kenny teased us about having so many shoes already that it was silly to go even if they were giving them away. I tried to tell him that mom and I don’t get that much time together and that it’s like recreation for us. So he wastes money playing pool and I waste money on shoes. So what?
I did get this one pair of peep toe pumps that I could tell he was glad I bought. Something about red toenail polish that really sets that boy off. LOL
