What is the history of Adidas?
Adidas is a well known global sports brand. It was founded in Germany in 1924 and is still a major player in the world of sportswear. It sponsors many sporting events and teams and will be seen at any major event from the football world cup to the Olympics. Adidas manufactures many sporting related items from Adidas Supernova trainers to footballs and everything in between. It turns over more than $15 billion a year and shows no sign of letting up its position as a force to be reckoned with. They are such an iconic brand, references are often made to them in popular culture and Run DMC even released a song called My Adidas referencing the Adidas trainers that they liked to wear.
