Atlanta video photographer turns an aircraft carrier
major lane hagin admits he’s frustrated. he has datathat shows police have made 37 drug arrests onboulevard since mid february.and that includes a sweep before music midtown thatnetted some arrests and thinned the traffic on someboulevard curbsides —at least temporarily.
Some of the arrests were recorded by an Atlanta video photographer. Some of those arrested were schoolteachers, who were out prior to a concert.
“it’s kinda like turning an aircraft carrier. it’sgonna take a little time. we’re committed toboulevard”, said Maj. Hagin. “we’re down fifteen percent in crime. so it’s betterthan it was but we’ve still got some work to do”
