Korg Triton synthesizer & The 1980s

If you had the pleasure of growing up in the 1980s, I’m sure you have a lot of recollections of the music, most especially new wave. When you think of new wave, it’s hard not to think about the main instrument that was used for that genre of popular music: the Korg Triton synthesizer. You can still get a sense of the New Wave keyboards music even in today’s popular music. But as pop popular music tends to do, the tide changed, and in 1992 the word Grunge was completely universal and destroyed the New Wave genre. Now, like so many times in the past, what was once lame is cool again, and people are starting to hear synthesizers in music again, especially in new bands like The Killers, who have used it in some of their songs.
