A Fiery Good Time
The last time I was in Costa Rica, I wanted to do something truly unique. I found it at an Arenal volcano hotel. A short drive from our Arenal volcano hotel brought us the north western side of the volcano. We then got to hike along a trial that wound up the volcano side. Beautiful vistas included Arenal Lake and some truly magnificent lava formations. The hike was perfect – not to taxing – it was easy to enjoy the day we spent, even though we hiked pretty far. A day spent hiking up the volcano is an experience my family and I will not soon forget. I would highly recommend a trip to an Arenal volcano hotel for anyone’s family vacation.
