Beware of misspelled name
I always thought that my name was spelled the same way as I would write them when I was a kid but boy was I wrong. I found out after a long period of time that on my birth certificate, my name was spelled differently from what I was using at school and other documents. It was just a single letter that was misspelled but it was a total mess especially when I needed legal documents. So I consulted a lawyer on what I can do and found out that I need to make an Affidavit that proves that I am one and the same person. I’m not sure if they called it as name affidavit but anyway I have to have all my records reconciled and eventually did with the help of my lawyers.
